Our Strategic Plan

Our Strategic Plan articulates our vision and purpose. It outlines our key strategic goals, objectives and proposed strategies for the coming years. Our Strategic Plan doesn’t detail everything our department does, rather it identifies the objectives that focus our attention toward improving the social and economic wellbeing of Aboriginal peoples, Torres Strait Islander peoples, seniors, carers and people with disability. Our Strategic Plan is a key element of our planning and performance framework.

The Strategic Plan 2021-2025 will function as the overarching document which guides our planned services and priorities over the next four years.

The Strategic Plan shares our aspirations and our approach to achieving the best outcomes for our communities. It is purposefully general and succinct as it sets the broad objectives and strategies for the Department. The plan is a dynamic document that we will review from time to time in response to changing and emerging needs of our stakeholders and the Queensland community.
